Aala flopped on her new bed. Her suitcase made a loud 'thump' next to her. She looked up at the ceiling. It was white, with a popcorn finish. It looks like Grams'. Thinking about Grams made Aala sigh. After Grams' death, Aala hadn't been able to eat, sleep or think properly. Her funeral hadn't made things any better. Grieving people in black, some crying, others sitting alone, just made Aala all that more sad.
Sh sat up and grabbed her journal. She began doodling, trying to distract herself from her morbid thoughts.

Tamora had been in the hall. It was the girl's dorm wing, after all, why shouldn't she be skipping down it? Anyways, here she was, her nose quirky at an unfamiliar scent.

She grinned giddily, 'New people!'

Tam flipped her hand over her shoulder and knocked boisterously on the door.


" Hello!! " She yelled enthusiastically through the door.

Aala's head popped up when she heard he knock. She almost jumped when she head a girl's voice through the door. She layed her journal on her bed and went to open the door. A smile spread across her face at the girl standing in front of her.
"Hi," she said. "I'm Aala. Can I help you?"

Tamora grins, green eyes brightening.

" More like, can I help you? " She chuckles musically and exclaims enthusiastically, " I'm Tamora, Tam, Tammy Skye and I'm here to get you all settled in and cozy with the school! "
Tam grins and offers to shake your hand.

IC Aala, still smiling, greatly shook Tamora's hand.
"Well," she began, "I haven't really learned the ropes around here yet."
She stepped back and offered Tamora to come inside.

Nezzera was walking down the hall searching for a new dorm for the new year when she hears Tamora talking with someone. Nezzera changes in to her cat form and walks to the door.
"purrr" Nezzera says to both of them as she weaves inbetween their legs

Aala looked down, surprised to see a cat. She bent down and petted it.

Nezzera looks up at Aala and purrs some more she then walks in to the bedroom and jumps on the empty bed and transforms in to her human form. "hey"
