Sex Education : For Beginners

Lucien heard what Ev murmured, and blushed slightly, a grin on his face. He totally agreed though... the more time they spent togther, the better. Taking hold of her hand in his own and entwining their fingers, Lucien walked down the corridor with Evelyn. After that kiss... he felt almost as lightheaded as he had when he'd been drugged up. Just been near Ev made him feel all tingly inside, as if the fire in him was tickling him, which felt quite weird. But not in a bad way. Lucien had never even expected to find out what love felt like, having decided to give up on it after his last failed relationship.... yet here he was ,falling faster than he would have thought he could. And he was glad of it.

Holding the main door open tolet Ev outside first, Lucien took a deep breath of the outside air, even though he didn't really need it. It felt great to be outside again. Hunter or no hunter, nothing was going to stop Lucien getting out. He was not been cooped up inside, no way.

"So... which part of the woods are we off to tonight then, gorgeous?" He asked Ev.

Evelyn felt herself blush crimson at his endearment. Slipping her hand out of his for a moment, she walked off for a bit, sniffing the air. It would of seemed weird if she weren't a vampire and all. She was searching for the area with the most deer population. She turned her head to the west and nodded, grinning slightly.

" Alright, we'll go this way! " She nearly skipped to the edge of the dark forest. Inside, with vampire site, you could see tangled vines, fallen trees, barren trees and the smell of deer wisped through the night air.

" Ready? " She offered a competitive teasing grin and cocked a dark eyebrow.

Lucien watched as Ev sniffed the air. He wished his senses were that good.. but that would take a while. They were getting there though. He followed her to the edge of the woods.. and it turned out to be the darkest part of them too. Not that this bothered Lucien... with his vampire sight, he could see pretty well. Now he'd just have to make sure he wasn't too klutzy, and hope he didn't trip over anything. Then he went into hunting mode, instantly confident in himself, letting his senses take over.

"Oh, I'm ready." Lucien said. "First to get the stag wins?"

After all... deer were easy to get. A stag was a bit more of a challenge. Usually harder to bring down than the deer.

"So on three, we go... One.. two..." And Lucien set off, ready to get the stag. There was nothing wrong with a bit of competetion... plus, Evelyn had years more practice of this than Lucien. She'd probably still kick his butt and get the stag first, even though Lucien had set off earlier.

Evelyn grinned. And he bolts off!

As Lucien ran, he looked behind him to see if Ev was catching up. He didn't see her... maybe she'd not set off, or she'd gone a different way or she'd already overtaken him! Putting on a bit more speed, Lucien raced forwards, turning his head to look in front of him again, but too late. He tripped over a log on the floor and went flying forwards, rolling and landing in a heap.

He lay down for a few seconds, just laughing at his klutzy-ness.

Evelyn had been speeding through the woods, her black locks flying behind her. She knew the forest well, since she had been here for awhile. She could easily beat Lucien.. She hoped. Ev grinned to herself as she dodged a hanging vine. The night air bit at her cheeks, brightening them with some color. She saw something up ahead.. On the ground. She stopped abruptly.

Lucien.

Grinning, she crossed her arms, " Stumble, did we? " Ev pressed an innocent kiss to his cheek before bolting off.

She slowed down her speed so he could catch up, taking a moment to recapture the stag's scent.

Lucien saw Ev whizz up to him, felt the kiss on his cheek, heard her teasing him, then smelt the stag. But so did Ev, she was off, after it again. Getting back up, Lucien ran after her. He was a competetive fellow, and though he would probably lose on purpose (or maybe not even on purpose... Ev had a lot more experience at this type of thing than he did), he wanted to make it look as though he had tried.

"Imma catch you!" He shouted after her, as he started to catch up. He could already see where this would go... it'd turn from hunting into a game. Still, Lucien didn't care. Having fun with Ev was a lot more important than winning some race to get the food. And this time, he was going to keep a closer eye on the ground so he didn't fall again.

At his reply, Evelyn's melodious laughter rang through the forest. Her senses were on an ultra high, it seemed. She was aware of every rustle, of every glimpse of movement, of every scent. She'd been at this for awhile, with quite a bit of experience.

In the distance, she saw it. A large male deer with antlers reaching high. This must be it. Grinning, she slinked into the shadows. Every step she took was feather light, and her eyes remained on the beast in front of her. She was directly in front of it, her eyes mesmerizing and controlling it's gaze.

She walked slowly up to it, like a Vampire Bat stalking it's prey, ready to pounce at the nearest vein.

Lucien saw the stag, and saw Evelyn move into the shadows, sneaking up on it. While she was o the ground, Lucien jumped up into the nearest tree, quiet as a ninja. He silently jumped from branch to branch, getting closer to the stag, just as Ev was. He had it in his sights, but the stag had it's gaze fixed on Ev, mesmerised by the vampire. This would be a great time to pounce...

Crouching on the branch, bending his legs, Lucien got ready to jump, ready to get the stag, break it's neck and feed.

of course, that's when he had to go and slip on the branch, for while he might not feel the cold, the woods did, and the cold night air had frozen the branches, making them as slippy as ice. He fell off backwards, landing on his back again, the wind knocked out of him. Luckily, as a vampire, he didn't need to breathe, so he got back up like it was nothing. Deciding to stay on the ground, Lucien crept up behind Ev, wrapping his arms round her waist before she pounced.

"Told you I'd catch you." He whispered in her ear, a grin on his face. Then he stepped back, motioning towards the stag. "Well, you got here first, you win. The stag's all yours."

Evelyn's gaze was on the Stag's. Dark, very dark brown eyes stared back at her, mesmerized, peaceful. She always got to this point and felt like her heart was going to break, at least the part that was human. It's eyes were so innocent, it probably had a family to care for, during the rough, snow driven months ahead. Ev's face was that of a huntress, but her mind was something else entirely.

She didn't see Lucien fall, but she saw slight movement out of the corner of her eyes. Strong arms circled around her waist, and she felt her body relax against the familiar build. As he slipped away, her heart fluttered before dimming.

Would Lucien think it was wrong? This vampire desire? Hopefully, no. He was a vampire too, right?

She took a slow, graceful step towards the beast, it remained unnerved. With her vampire eyes, she could see the throbbing vein in it's neck, inviting, alluring. Crouching down, she hunched back and launched. Teeth meeting trembling flesh.

She closed her eyes as the beast thrashed from it's dream-like state, slowly calming as each delicious mouthful slipped down her throat. The crimson elixir seemed like the best cure in the world.

Ev kept her eyes closed as she wiped her mouth, standing up slowly.

Lucien stepped back as Evelyn leapt forwards, biting at the neck of the stag. She kept it pressed down in it's death throes, feeding when the body stopped thrashing around and went limp. The smell of the blood hit Lucien like a truck, and he felt his fangs grow ever so slightly, ready to feed. He felt the hunger, but he also felt revulsion, revulsion at the way the smell of the blood made him feel. But he could't help what he was. He'd rather feed from an animal than a human, but he'd rather not feed at all than feed from either of them. But if he didn't feed, then he'd grow weak and die, and he had so much life left ahead of him, so much more time to spend with Ev... he felt selfish for thinking this, but it was the truth, and he accepted it.

As Evelyn stepped back, Lucien stepped forwards, finishing off the blood of the dead animal, the crimson liquid seeming to warm him up, wetting his parched throat. Soon, the blood was gone, and the stag was just an empty shell, carrion meat for the scavengers of the forest. He lifted his gaze from the vein, and saw the animal's eyes were still open. Closing them, he whispered "Rest in peace."

He wasn't a religious person, and Lucien didn't know if there was anythig after death, but now the stag would never have to worry about anything again. But maybe it had had a mate, had had fawns... a simple version of a family, but a family none the less. He felt sorrow run through him, remorse for the deed that had been done, even though he knew neither Evelyn nor himself could help it.

And then he remembered what had happened last time this feeling went through him in the woods. He felt a shiver go down his spine as he went cold. And that was all the warning Lucien needed, because he never got cold. He looked up, seeing a shadow depart from the trees, pooling at the bottom of it, and rising up, forming the shape of a man. A man with black hair, eyes as black as night, no whites or iris. He was tall and well built. And his teeth were sharpened to points. He gave off an aura that filled Lucien with dreaded thoughts, thoughts full of regret and sorrow and despair.

He wasn't going to let this ... this... this thing beat him again. He wasn't going to let it hurt him, and he most certainly wasn't going to let it hurt Ev.

"Ev... do you trust me?" He asked, the urgency in his voice clear. He had an idea on how to get rid of the Shade, how to destroy it. But he needed Ev. "Becuase we have only seconds before that thing is on us. You need to do what I say, no questions asked...Please...."

IC : Evelyn had been lost in thought. She always felt the sadness corrupting and twisting in her stomach. She felt guilty, for doing such a thing to such an innocent creature. Her eyes had opened to rest on it's empty body, turned cold from lack of blood.

Her eyes fluttered open as she heard Lucien's voice next to her, her green eyes locked on his alarmed blue ones.

Did she trust him? She loved him, of course she trusted him. What was happening?

She murmured a small, " Yes.. " As her eyes remained alert, sensing something dark lurking in the shadows.

Evelyn said yes, she trusted him. Lucien hoped that she wouldn't think he was crazy for doing this, but it was the best way he could think of getting rid of the feelings of despair that the Shade gave out, that were running through him at the moment.

His crazy plan? He grabbed Ev, pulling her close to him, pressing his lips to hers. It was the easiest way to lose all those negative feelings, the ones the Shade fed on, needed to survive, the ones it gave out. His mind emptied of all remorse, of all despair and hopelessness, the space that had been occupied by them replaced with a feeling of total love, filling him up until he felt like he was going to burst. He hoped against all hope that it would have the same effect on Ev, the person he had given his whole self to.

It was the only way to get rid of this creature of pure evil, waiting to devour them. Lucien was going to make it lose two victims and it's existence. He would not give in to hopelessness, not as long as he was with Ev.

IC : Evelyn felt him tug her closer, and felt his lips capture her's. It was urgent, if a bit rushed, but needed. Her mouth pressed against his with equal force, if not more. She took a step back and brought him with her, her back against the bark of a tree. Her arms wrapped around his neck tightly.

Lucien felt a wave of relief rush over him as Evelyn kissed him back, not even seeming slightly confused. He moved along with her, arms round her waist as she moved back against a tree. As always , the rest of the world seemed to slip away until it was just them, where nothing else mattered. Lucien wanted so badly for this relationship to last, to go well where so many others had gone wrong. He already knew it would, just judging by his feelings. He'd never felt this strongly about anyone before.

There was an unearthly screech as the Shade lost it's hold over the two lovers, the despair felt by the two disappearing in the momet their lips touched. The Shade had nothig to feed on, no way to get it's feelings through. And so.. it was destroyed. It gathered into a ball of shadow that seemed to implode then explode, going in all differet directions. The most dangerous and deadly thing in the woods... who would have thought it could be defeated by something so simple as a feeling, a feeling that no others compared to?

Even though the Shade was gone, Lucien carried on with the kiss. They had a lot more privacy here than in the classroom. The chances of someone walking by them in the woods of this size were extremely small. No Thanatos, no cat demon, no hunters. Just the two of them, in an embrace only known by those who had found that special someone, that perfect other person who they shared their soul with.

Evelyn closed her eyes, consumed by Lucien's delicate touch. Her hands pulled his face closer to her's, her back brushed against the dew covered bark of the tree. She heard, faintly, the screech of something, but it didn't faze her, and it apparently didn't faze Lucien. Grinning beneath the kiss, she sank into the moment. No interruptions, no issues, just them.

Her heart seemed to flutter in her chest like an unruly butterfly.

OOC xD yeah, she's sleeping now, thank god ^^ She woke me up in the middle of the night so I could love on her. Ergh, nothing beats a persistent, adorable female cat You'll probably notice I use that unruly butterfly bit often, it's kinda my favorite way to describe things

Lucien felt Ev pull him closer to her, going willingly. The kiss carried on, as it had before. But this time, they were out of the way, they had as much privacy as they wanted. They had until the sun started to come up.

Until the sun came up....

Oh bugger.... Lucien thought. That's not far off... and that's not long enough to spend with Ev....

A crazy idea entered Lucien's mind, or crazy by the school's standards, not by his. After all, there was well enough room.

Pulling back from the kiss slightly and gently, Lucien looked at Ev, a smile on his face, his eyes showing how much he cared. "Ev... the sun'll be up soon. I've not spent long enough with you tonight, no night could ever be long enough... So... do you wanna stay with me tonight? I mean, my dorm's empty, it's just me in there, and there's spare beds and stuff, if you wanted to..."



OOC: Tis okies, I don't have a problem with it. Everyone has there favourite phrase to use.

Evelyn watched him, licking her lips after the kiss. She would've been quite satisfied if she could spend an eternity kissing Lucien, honestly. He made her feel secure, safe and, most of all, loved.

Ev chuckled at the suggestion, a light, happy tone. She did know that the sun would be up soon, and there wasn't anything wrong spending the night with Lucien. She trusted him, which was surprising. She never had the time or the will to trust anyone before, but she supposed it was because she never truly loved anyone before.

Taking his hand carefully, she smiled, " Sure. "

"Great." Lucien said, a grin on his face. "Don't be getting any ideas though, young lady." He laughed and winked. "Still, we've got a while left out before we have to go back." He moved his head forwards again, pressing his lips back against Evelyn's.

Maybe as a vampire he had to feed off of blood, but really... well, hge'd prefer to just kiss Evelyn instead. The feeling he got from feeding was nothing compared to how he felt when he was with her, and when he kissed her... it was like a sun bursting in his heart, his mind been wiped of everything but that kiss. He'd been lucky to findEvelyn at so young an age. He might have had to wait centuries to meet her. But he would have waited that long, if it meant he felt how he felt now. Ev would have been worth the wait, no matter how long it was. Lucien could livwe for a million years, have many different experiences, freel many different things, but nothing, NOTHING, would compare to how he felt now. Nothing ever had and never could.

Evelyn almost gasped as his mouth met against her's, but a grin pressed against his mouth quickly. She loved this. It was such an innocent moment of bliss, so light, so chaste, slowly moving to a more romantic stance. To know that he wanted to kiss her, that he loved her, it made her feel.. Giddy, like giggling and crying at the same time. He was right for her, even if he was only a tad older, but did that even matter? Being a vampire makes you age mentally more than physically.

His birthday was tomorrow. 18 to her 15, or was it 16? She hardly kept track anymore. Age was but a number and time was everything.

Lucien felt Evelyn's grin as she kissed him back. So, no reply to what he'd said, other than that. Still, a kiss carried more than words ever could. In words, a lie could be hidden. But in a kiss such as this... it was so open, so giving, and there was no way a lie could be hidden in something suuch as this.

Lucien realised it was his birthday tomorrow. He'd be eighteen... but then again, did age really matter? It certainly didn't to him. It hadn't really mattered before he got turned, and now he had, it meant even less. Age was a number, years would pass y and he would still look the same. The only physical aspect of him that would age woul e his eyes, the window to the soul, giving away that he was older than he looked. But that would be in years. Eighteen was still young. Eighteen wasn't too far from Evelyn's fifteen, nearly sixteen.

Eighteen.... he hadn't lived that long, buut in those few years, he'd had a lot of experience. He'd experienced loss, pain, abandonment. He'd experienced hate, protectiveness and love. He'd experienced been Changed, something he would never put anyone through.

Putting thoughts of age aside, Lucien remembered the sun. Yes, they had a while before it came up. But Lucien didn't want to rush back to his room as he always did. Better to set off earlier and take your time than to rush. He did, after all, have all the time in the world. And so, for the second time that night, he picked Ev up while they were still in their embrace and started off back to the dorms. This would be a lot more challeneging than earlier, as Lucien would have to make sure he didn't fall over any logs or anything on the ground pf the woods. Not too difficult though. It just meant that he'd be relying on his snese of smell instead of hearing.

Evelyn felt herself smile as he picked her up. He made it seem so effortless. She supposed he was taking her to his room now. She pulled back from the kiss reluctantly to caress his face with her fingertips. He looked back at her with clear, blue eyes. She felt her heart melt in her chest.

He had that effect on her. He made her feel wanted and his gaze on her, let's just say it's not something you see everyday. She grinned brightly at him.

Lucien ran through the forest, arms tight round Evelyn, tress whipping past him in a blur on both sides. Soon enough, they were out of there, with the openness of the grounds ahead of them, travelled in seconds as Lucien didn't slow down. He saw his bedroom window still open, and grinned, looking at Evelyn in her eyes, those beautiful emeralds shining in the moonlight, lit up permanently by the smile on her face. Lucien would give her everything... though he had a feeling that, in a way, he already had. He had given her his love, his heart and his soul.

"Hold on tight." He said, before jumping up, feeling the air rush past him. His window was wide open, and so he got in easily enough. He gave Ev another quick kiss, before putting her down on his bed and going to his window, closing it and the thick black curatins. After all, he didn't want the sun to burn them when it came back up.

Evelyn felt the wind blow through her unruly hair as they appeared in his room. She was set down on the bed and her eyes lingered on him as he went to close the window and the drapes. Tall, muscular, handsome. Most people would consider just having that lucky, but Lucien was so much more.

She leaned back on his bed, grinning a secret grin to herself.
